What is Urban Fashion Culturally In Modern Society?

Urban Fashion Message Changed Through The Decades

TLC 90s Urban FashionWe all know that urban fashion is ever changing as time flies by and what’s seen as urban culture evolves. Over the decades we’ve seen the styles change from the comfortable loose, funky garments of the 80s and 90s, to the tight, fitted, provocative clothing of today.

Not only has the culture and definition of Urban Fashion changed in modern society, the message has also gone through a transformation. The message was conscious, the message was love yourself, the message was respect yourself, the message was conscious, bold and revolutionary. It was for the people whereas now it has completely changed to against the people, just Obey, be a slave to the system.

The mentality of music genres such as Hip Hop and RnB has always been big part and influence of the styles of urban fashion. As we look back on the past few decades we see these genres lyrics, imagery and messages fall from constructive to obstructive and destructive. We see more negative visuals in music videos, TV shows and the newspaper. We especially see the females wearing less and less clothes.

Modern Fashion

The Urban world has been subconsciously programmed over decades via mass media to accept a zombie, sheep mentality as Urban Culture and also to accept negative as positive. For example we listen to Rick Ross talk about getting rich off selling cocaine and see it as cool, we watch Rihanna Twerking in leggings and a bra and see it as normal fashion and behaviour.

Illuminati and Masonic symbolism seems to be what’s popular in this current day and age. Don’t think, just live for tonight, You only live once (Y.O.L.O) is the message that’s being spread via popular clothing brands such as “Obey Clothing” , Rocawear & UNIF, especially among teenagers who blindly follow this “cool” fashion trend. These brands push those symbols and messages in a massive and obvious way but also subconsciously.

Obey clothing is about obeying the system, UNIF is satanic and is about devil worshipping with such collections as “hell is so hot right now”. Many Celebrity Urban Music Artists have been seen wearing UNIF clothing such as Lil Wayne & Justin Beiber. Rocawear is owned by Hip Hop Veteran Jay-Z, the brand promotes the One World Government, One Religion and One Currency ideal.

Jay-Z puts up triangle hand sands, referencing the Illuminati and millions of people copy him without questioning or knowing what it means. Kanye West wears a skirt and says “I sold my soul to the devil” and millions of people copy his style and take his words as positive, cheering.

So in short Urban Fashion now in Modern Society is a culture of, non thinking, non questioning, Obeyer’s.

Obey Clothing’s Secret Symbolism That Manipulates Our Cognitive Thinking

Obey Clothing Under a Microscope

Obey Clothing

Since the 80’s “Obey” started out as a street art with the picture of Andre the giant posing with the writing obey.  Both image and wording…Obey became synonymous with a clothing brand of today’s market.  The Obey brand is artistic with rich graphical appeal where the modern youths find it “cool”.  The brand is flirting more into symbolisms that are seemingly aesthetic with an allure of glamour which is being promoted by music artists of today.

Now Let Us Take a Closer Look Behind the Message, “Obey Clothing”

 Fight Conformity from Obey Clothing

First and foremost, what is the dictionary meaning of the word OBEY? It means to submit or conform in action, to be obedient or agree to obey (some guiding principle, impulse, one’s conscience).  Having those terms in mind, mix those meaning with the symbolism that many of us barely understands and that’s where the concerns will start to arouse.  The fact my kids will see pop stars wearing clothing which has the insignia of the infamous “Devil’s Horn” or the all seeing eye of masonry elite groups.  What is it that we are obeying behind the ritualistic symbols?  Not having the basic understanding of symbolism and promoting it is in fact mindless of an act to support.  The fact Obey purports these ritualistic arts of secret society brands is indicative of its mere commands that one must obey an order that we do not understand or know anything about.

The Science of Today’s Media Manipulation Using Symbolisms

Machinery of slavery

The word slavery comes to mind when I think of obeying through manipulations and conformity through control.  The media uses the power of psychology on various levels to impress upon both our subconscious and conscious minds to obey into their ideals and cryptograms whilst deliberately using colours to attract various personal emotive responses to their desired effect.  If you unknowingly buy blood diamonds that fuel the genocide in central Africans countries then you are supporting that regime whether it is direct or indirect.  In that, we are feeding energies into something that is in one hand, portrays aesthetic art and yet it has a darker meaning for an agenda in which promotes modern slavery.

The term slavery denotes According to Oxford Dictionary the term Slave is defined as “a person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them” as in the case of the United States during the 18th and 19th centuries where slavery was a legalized institution. Oxford dictionary also defines slavery as “a person who works very hard without proper remuneration or appreciation”. It also describes a slave as “a person who is excessively dependent upon or controlled by something” or “a device, or part of one, directly controlled by another” excessively dependent upon or controlled by something” or “a device, or part of one, directly controlled by another”.  Base those definitions, we are in part or wholesomely withdrawing our birth right to think freely and be REVOLUTIONARY with a unique sense of nature.  To conform isn’t a bad thing unless it is manipulated for an agenda which was not purchased as advertised in the first place.  So what are we OBEYING?

Checkout OG Clothing “I am Revolutionary” in which denotes the message of freeing your mind from mental slavery and in all levels of control that limits who you are and what you can achieve by simply being “ORIGINAL” not “OBEY”.  See http://www.ogclothing.co
